I just could not stop myself from playing my computer games once i started playing it. It was like getting addicted to drugs. In secondary one, i did not have self-discipline and could not cope with my studies. Even my parents could not control me or maybe they thought i was hopeless and did not care of my addiction. Everyday, after school, i would go home after having lunch in school and started playing the computer. I would usually play with friends online and would not stop untill 8. From there, i took my lunch and finished my school homework, then started playing computer games again non-stop until midnight. My parents would have asked me to stop playing already but i ignored them and continued playing until all my online friends had gone to sleep. During weekends, it was much worse as i played from the afternoon to midnight, sometimes maybe until the next morning! That time, i was dumb enough to not study and revise for my exams. In the end, i did badly for end of the year exams and was the bottom of the class. When i showed my report book to my father, he had no expression as if he already knew this was going to happen. This made me feel bad and want to show my father that i could achieve higher marks than present. I then started to stop playing my computer and finished all my secondary one assesment books. After i had finished my secondary one assesments, i started on my secondary two assesment books which i bought them myself. When school reopened this year, i could manage my time and had self-discipline. i began using the computer but not for playing games, only for research. I did not actually used computer just for research only, i used it to relax and have a break after finishing all my homework.(which is to play games!)Photobucket

Does your phone have problems such as shutting down by itself? Or maybe removing all ur photos and music in your phone? Well, my phone used to be one of those unusual phones. That day, i just got my new phone a few months ago and have been taking care of it really well. But on that day, my phone had a problem. It kept on restarting itself on its own accord and i could not send messages to anyone. I did not even drop it once! I also found out that all my songs had dissapeared without a trace. I then tried to take out my memory card and putting it back again, hoping that everything would be right where i wanted them to be. But instead, i ended up losing more of my stuff such as pictures and photos. I began to worry and soon terrified. What if i lose my important documents inside?(which i do not really have...) I than took a bus to simei, East Point, and went to the Sony Erricson shop to have it fixed. But because it was a weekend, the shop was closed. I than thought to myself, what if the shop would be closed for one whle week since it was the holidays? i began to scare myself without knowing and took a bus back home as there was nothing i could do but to wait for my father to come back home in the night and fetch me to other handphone shops to repair my phone.( I did not want to call him as he is at work.) As i waited for him, i kept on taking out my memory card and putting it back again, to see if there was a chance i could retrieve back all my documents. The whole day i had been doing nothing except doing my school work. Finally, my long wait for nightfall was finally over. As soon as my father came back from work, he took me to Century Square to have my phone repaired. I lold the lady working there that my phone has gone nuts and everything in my phone was gone. The lady then took my phone to examine the problem. After some time, she gave me back the phone and said in an angry tone,"Please come again!" I took my phone and saw my wallpaper came back, i immediately went on to check on my other stuff. They were all there! I did not even lose anything in the first place! It was really surprising and weird. I did not try to find out more of what happened but just felt happy and relieved that my phone had everything back.(It was pretty freaky and weird!)Photobucket

How could it be? Why would wei zheng want to steal eugene's math textbook? Even if i were him, i would rather steal more valuable stuff than TEXTBOOK. It was such a dumb and wrong thing to do. It all happened last year during maths lesson, Mr Tan asked us to take out our textbooks when eugene started to look high and low for his textbook. He than gave up looking for it and walked up to Mr Tan, telling him that he lost his textbook. As he had the thinking that eugene forgot to bring his textbook and was now giving an excuse that he lost it, Mr Tan did not believed him and as punishment, he made eugene stand at his seat. I myself as his good friend did not believed him, but eugene kept on arguing with the teacher, kept on saying that it was the truth. Then, Mr Tan started thinking that it could be true that he had lost it, or maybe SOMEONE TOOK IT. So, he ordered everyone to empty our bags and eugene would be going around the classroom to check and hopefully find his textbook. Just than, eugene went to wei zheng place and started to flip through the pages of the textbook, he found out that the textbook was his! As i could not believed it, i thought that maybe it was a mistake, but there was a commotion at his place and they started shouting at each other that the textbook was his own. Mr Tan than went over to wei zheng's table and sorted things out. Eugene told the teacher that he could prove that the textbook was his, by showing the teacher that his textbook was filled with his ugly drawings on most of the pages(self-portrait!) Mr Tan was starting to believe him when wei zheng said that his textbook was also filled with drawings. Mr Tan found that this situation was to difficult to handle and decided to let Mr Chia handle this. Just than, Mr Tan had an idea. He told the two boys that he was going to let Mr Chia handle this if the culprit does not own up. As planned, the culprit owned up after some time(maybe he just had to if not Mr Tan would continue talking and explaining all the boring stuff to him until he owns up). Wei zheng was the thief who stole eugene's textbook and he apologized to eugene for doing such a thing and promised not to do it again. Eugene somehow accepted his apology and the two became friends again. Sometimes you must learn to forget and forgive, so that people would respect you(like me!)

I LOVE PLAYING COMPUTER GAMES!! Whenever my parents were not at home, i would switch on my computer and start playing with all my online friends, BUT, i would only play in the night after i finished studying and doing all my schoolwork. My parents always said that i could only play after i finished my work, they are right to say that as sometimes i do not complete my homework and start playing, but sometimes they would accuse me for not doing any work and play computer games from afternoon to night. I hate it when this happens especially when i have been doing my homework for the whole afternoon and parents say that i cannot play computer. One time, i tried to go on a strike by not doing any work and slept the whole day. When my parents knew that i had not done anything for the whole day, they would lock the computer and do not allow me to use it without their permission. that had made me see red and continued my rebel. For two whole weeks i had not done anything except...NOTHING! i did not do any of my schoolwork and ended up copying from my friends in school. But after some time, i realised that this rebel would only harm myself and my exam results had dropped drastically. After realising what i had done was wrong and stupid, i decided to amend my ways and start studying hard for the next exam. And not surprisingly, my results improved a lot and it just keeps getting better. After my parents know that i had been studying hard all this while, they unlocked the computer knowing that i could control myself. To prove that they did the right thing, i am going to study really hard this year and not to spent too much time playing computer but reading books instead for my break after doing my homework. I learned that things that you enjoy most does not mean you spend most of your time on it. I also learned that people sometimes misuderstand you and you just have to learn to forgive them. Hey, not every one is perfect you know(except me!)

I remembered last year in the december holidays i went to Indonesia with my family and relatives. I went there not to burn forest, but to visit my uncle who works there. He stays in a hotel suite which has six rooms vacant, my family and relatives occupied only four rooms. The hotel was beautifully decorated with lightings and the most attention seeking one was the chocolate houses displayed at the hotel lobby. We mostly went shopping for really cheap stuff, price between 3 to 10 dollars! Nothing much to do there,in fact, there was nothing to do! I just stayed in the hotel and watch television programmes and sleep. How boring is that! But we soon left surabaya and took a flight to Lombok, which is another part of Indonesia. That was where the fun begins. We stayed in Lombok for 5 days, living in a villa, something like a bunglow, only bigger! When i first got there, i was stupified. How cool and big the villa was! The bathroom was 3 to 4 times the size of your bathroom, now imagine that! There was a swimming pool just outside of my room, every morning i went swimming with my brother and uncle. The next day, we went to have our branch at a coffee shop, the nasi lemak was horrible!(So does the other foods!) It was quite interesting as we visited hindu temples and went to a pearl factory where my sister bought braclets, so had my cousins. The remianing days we went to other temples and visited one of the seven wonders of the world which i had forgotten the name...I also went to the top of a volcano just to experience the smell of sulfur, which smells like rotten eggs. Anyway, i enjoyed myself in Lombok and after that, i went back to surabaya for more shopping and went to the beautiful beach somewhere near my uncle's hotel on the last day, snorkling. When i had to part with my uncle, i felt sad as parting with my uncle but he would be going back to Singapore someday. I totally enjoyed myself during the holiday trip and hope we could go there again next year.
